#flashbackfriday this week was featured on April 4, 2015. Annihilation: A Novel (The Southern Reach Trilogy) by Jeff VanderMeer. The book won 2014 Nebula Award for Best Novel. The novel follows a group of humans in a dystopic future where nature has reclaimed most of the Earth. We follow expedition 12 as they explore Area-X and try to find out what happened to the 11 previous expeditions.
