SBAD Interviews James Gleick
Last night I had the wonderful opportunity to interview best-selling science writer, James Gleick, for the Wheelers Centre in Melbourne, Australia. We were talking about his most recent book Time Travel: A History, which is a cultural exploration of the role that time travel has played in our society in a relatively short period of time. We had a lovely chat which ranged from discussions of Flatland, the Robert Heinlein story By His Bootstraps, the nature of time, and of course various contributions of Einstein and way we consider time today.
James has written The Information, which won the Royal Society Book Prize in 2012 and a number of other books. I suggest you check out his work whenever you get the chance.
I believe the session was audio recorded, which I hope to share with you all soon.
